Findings
This semester, I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator, which I had never touched before taking IVN. I also got familiar with the pen tool, which I didn’t know how to use properly before. Each assignment required us to use the pen tool effectively, helping us get used to and understand it better. Along the way, I also learned new skills and gained a deeper understanding of characterization, world-building, composition, color, perspective, lighting, and transitions. These lessons have helped me improve, and I’m excited to apply them to my artwork in the future. I’m happy that with every assignment, I became more comfortable with the application and was able to complete my work with less difficulty over time.
